Bəşəriyyət tarixində qruplar arasında münaqişə problemi cəmiyyətdəki münasibətlərin ayrılmaz hissəsi olmuşdur. Münaqişələri sülh yolu ilə həll etmək ümidi ilə bu problemin öyrənilməsi ilə müxtəlif elm sahələrinin alimləri aktiv məşğul olmuşlar. Qruplar arasındaki münasibətlərin öyrənilməsində elmi tədqiqatarın əsasını empatiya təşkil edir. Həmin elmi istiqamətdə aparılan tədqiqatların çox hissəsi qruplar arasındakı münasibətlərin təkmilləşdirilməsi və qruplar arasındakı mənfi rəyin aradan qaldırılması üçün empatiya yaradan müdaxilələrin potensialına yönəlib. Bu problemin aktuallığı kiçik, eləcə də böyük qruplar səviyyəsində bir çox ictimai və siyasi münaqişələrin aradan qaldırılması zərurəti ilə şərtlənir. Bu yazı empatiya mexanizminin köməyi ilə qruplararası münaqişələrin həlli imkanlarını təhlil edir. Termini tarixi kontekstdə müəyyənləşdirməyi nəzərdə tuturuq. Bundan əlavə, iki fərqli duyğunun mahiyyəti aşkara çıxarılır: distress və empatiya. Bu ifadələr məqalədə göstərilən bir sıra təcrübələrlə təsdiqlənir. Qruplararası münaqişələrin araşdırılmasına həsr olunmuş tədqiqatlarda Batson empatiyanın yaranmasını şərtləndirən 4 əsas vəziyyəti müəyyən etmişdir. Eyni zamanda, qarşı tərəflə münasibətlərin yaxşılaşmasına səbəb olan bir model də təsvir edilmişdir. Empatiya, əsl anlayışında, həm böyük, həm də kiçik qruplar səviyyəsində bir çox münaqişələrin sülh yolu ilə həllinə ümid verir.
Throughout the history of mankind, the problem of intergroup conflict has been an integral part of relationships in society. In the hope of a peaceful conflict resolutions, scientists from different fields of science are actively studying this issue. Phenomen of empathy has received increasing empirical attention in the intergroup relations studies. A lot of those researches had been focused on the potential of interventions that generate empathy for reducing intergroup bias and improving intergroup attitudes. The relevance of this problem is based on demand to eliminate many social and political conflicts, both at the level of small and large groups. This article analyses the possibility of resolving intergroup conflicts through the use of the empathy mechanism. We define the term based on a historically consistent context. Further, the essence of two diagonally opposite emotions is revealed: distress and empathy. These statements are confirmed by a number of experiments cited in the article. Moreover, the mechanism of intergroup empathy is considered as one of the first and most important steps in the peaceful resolution of intergroup conflicts, and the conditions preceding the onset of empathy are analysed. Batson identified 4 basic conditions called empathy in studies of intergroup conflicts, as well as the effectsthey exhibit. A model that leads to an improvement in attitudes towards the opposite side of the conflict is also described. Empathy, in its true understanding, gives hope for a peaceful settlement of many conflicts, both at the level oflarge groups and at the level of small groups.
На протяжении всей истории человечества проблема межгруппового конфликта является неотъемлемой частью взаимоотношений в обществе. В надежде на мирное урегулирование конфликтных ситуаций, ученые разных областей науки занимаются активным изучением данной проблематики. Эмпатия получает все большее внимание исследователей при изучении межгрупповых отношений. Большая часть исследований в данном научном направлении сосредоточена на потенциале вмешательств, которые вызывают эмпатию, для улучшения межгрупповых отношений и уменьшения межгрупповых предубеждений. Актуальность данной проблематики обусловлена необходимостью устранения множества общественных и политических конфликтов, как на уровне малых, так и на уровне больших групп. В приведенной статье анализируется возможность урегулирования межгрупповых конфликтов на основе применения механизма эмпатии. Мы даем определение термина, основываясь на исторически последовательном контексте. Далее раскрывается сущность двух противоположных по сути эмоций: дистресс и эмпатия. Так, эмпатия несет в себе альтруистический подтекст, а эмоция дистресса, наоборот, эгоистический. Данные утверждения подтверждаются рядом приведенных в статье экспериментов. Далее рассматривается механизм межгрупповой эмпатии как один из первых и наиболее важных шагов в мирном разрешении межгрупповых конфликтов, а также анализируются условия, предшествующие возникновению эмпатии. Батсоном выявлены четыре основных состояния, которые называются эмпатией в исследованиях межгрупповых конфликтов, а также эффекты, которые они проявляют. Также в статье описана модель, которая приводит к улучшению отношения к противоположной стороне в конфликте. Эмпатия, в своем истинном понимании, дает возможность надеяться на мирное урегулирование множества конфликтов, как масштабного значения, так и на уровне малых групп.
