Abstract

The article introduces the studies of European and American scientists, such as A.L.M.Nicolas, Henry Corbin, Mangol Bayat, Makeoin, John (Juan) Richard Cole, about sheikhism, in which, in comparison with studies conducted in the Soviet and post-Soviet space, including in Azerbaijan, the issues, beginning with the history, the founder and representatives of the sheikhism up to its metaphysics, cosmology, are more widely researched. The author considers the essence of Shaikhizm metaphysics in the context of the interpretation of certain features of interpretation intrinsic to the Western studies.
Məqalə şeyxilik haqqında A.L.M.Nikolas, Henri Korben, Manqol Bayat, Denis Martin MakEoin, Con Koul kimi Avropa və ABŞ alimlərinin tədqiqatları ilə tanış edərək, bunlarda şeyxiliyin tarixi, banisi, nümayəndələrindən tutmuş metafizika, kosmologiyasına qədər məsələlərin sovet və postsovet məkanda, o cümlədən Azərbaycanda aparılan araşdırmalarla müqayisədə daha geniş işıqlandırıldığı göstərilir. Müəllif şeyxilik metafizikasının mahiyyətini Qərb tədqiqatlarına xas olan təfsirin xüsusiyyətlərinin şərhi kontekstində nəzərdən keçirir.
