Yusif Balasaqunlunun “Qutadqu bilik” əsərində sufi-mistik həyat tərzinin tərənnümü The Representation of Sufi-Mystical Lifestyles in Yusuf Balasaghuni's "Qutadgu Bilig" Сufi-мистический образ жизни в произведении Юсуфа Баласагуни «Кутадгу билиг»

The most significant aspect of “Gutadgu Knowledge” (Knowledge Leading to the Future), written in Turkish by the 11 th century poet and encyclopedic scholar Yusif Khas Balasagunlu is the reflection of Sufi philosophical values together with the socio-political and ethic remarks in this article. Being aware of the basic principles of the philosophy of Sufi the poet compares secular lifestyle with mystic Sufi way of life. According to the Sufi’s way of life described in the poem, a creature, which has chosen this path, must be aside from the people, throttle his own passion and avidity and must remove world dreams from his heart to achieve God’s true love. The views mentioned in his work testify Balasagunlu’s acquaintance with the Sufi doctrine and poetry even before Yasavithe founder of the Turkish Sufi School.
