The article is devoted to the question of elision of words one of the stylistic problems in Arabic language of Koran. The author indicates that this appearance existed in the pre-islamic period, too. The elision of words appears very distinctly in Koran. The elision of words is connected to fıve aspects in Koran 1. The usefulness of the elision 2. Its causes 3. Its proofs 4. Its conditions 5. Its divisions.
According to the author any appearance of elision needs either context or sence of a word in its place. To emphasize his ideas he uses Arabic literature and gives many examples about this problem from Koran.
