Hidâyet, dünyada hiçbir nimet ve servetle ölçülemeyecek ve hatırası bir ömür boyu tüm tazeliğiyle burunda tütecek bir mazhariyet sevincidir. Hidayet, âşıkın mâşuka kavuşma halidir. Kısacası, “Hidâyet, büyük bir nimet, vicdânî bir lezzet ve ruhun cennetidir.”
This article after a brief introduction into the meaning and usage of the word "conversion" in Qur'an, deals with the stories of the religious people who converted to Islam. Conversion to another religion is not an easy task, especially for religious people. Bearing this in mind, the article analyses the motives and the reasons led these people (some of whom are Cardinal and archbishop) to accept Islam. It suggests that these people converted to Islam because they saw many good examples in Islam: The moral qualities of many Muslims, the influence of Qur'an, which is the only authentic holy book reached to us without alteration, the idea that in Islam there is no intermediary between God and man, the evidences they found in Bible and Torah about the Prophethood of Muhammad etc.
